Description

If you are a compassionate, experienced leader in the intellectual/developmental disabilities field who wants to make a meaningful difference at both the individual and systems level, this role is a perfect opportunity to do that!

Lane County Developmental Disabilities Services is currently recruiting for TWO Developmental Disabilities Supervisors. We are currently evaluating operational needs, and the final assignment will depend on business priorities, as well as the skills, experience and interests of the successful candidates.

As a Developmental Disabilities Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live safely, with dignity and choice. Whether you are guiding assessment work or supporting services coordination, your leadership will directly influence the quality, consistency and integrity of services that people rely on every day.

This is a role for someone who values collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and accountability. Successful candidates will be prepared to guide staff, strengthen partnerships, and help shape policies and practices that align with Oregon’s I/DD system and Lane County’s commitment to improving lives through community-based support with a focus on self-determination.

If you are seeking a leadership role where your expertise is respected, your judgment matters, and your contributions have lasting impact on individuals, families and the broader community, we hope you will consider joining our team.

About the Division

Services are designed to maximize opportunities for self-determination and self-sufficiency.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm.

*This is a non-represented position.*

Studies have shown that women and BIPOC individuals are less likely to apply for jobs unless they believe they are able to perform every task in the job description. We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may be one who comes from a less traditional background. The county will consider any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications. If you are interested in applying, we encourage you to think broadly about your background and skill set for the role.
