This team identifies improvement opportunities for providers and services and monitors trends related to health and safety for those in services. This team collaborates with other licensing teams, ODDS units and case management entities (CMEs) throughout the state. The Corrective Action Team is responsible for all corrective actions taken when providers are not compliant with OARs and/or a licensing review demonstrates a need to take protractive actions for an individual in services.

  • Responsible for reviewing protective service investigation reports, complaint investigations, and licensing reports to assess whether sanction activity is warranted.
  • Ensure compliance with Senate Bill 136 and federal regulations by identifying non-compliant entities and recommending appropriate corrective actions or sanctions.
  • Analyzing the relevance and adequacy of evidence presented in complaint reports to determine whether it meets the threshold for enforcement action.
