We’re looking for an Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) who is flexible, reliable, and passionate about making a difference. This role blends hands-on support with leadership responsibilities—perfect for someone ready to grow in the field.


What You’ll Do


  • Provide direct support to residents (approx. 30 hrs/week)
  • Assist with program coordination and leadership tasks (approx. 10 hrs/week)
  • Help create a positive, safe, and engaging home environment
  • Support independence, daily living skills, and community involvement

Schedule


  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Thursday–Sunday (30 hrs DSP) + 9–10 flexible APC hours
  • Weekend availability required

Benefits

Pay & Benefits


  • $19.62–$24.07/hour starting wage
  • Up to $32.53/hour (position cap)
  • Raises every 6 months for first 2 years, then annually
  • Paid training (12 hours/year)

Required Qualifications

What We’re Looking For


  • 18+ years old
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Passion for supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills


Education & Experience


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One of the following:
  • 6+ months experience supporting adults with I/DD
  • OR 2 years of college
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
