As a Program Manager...

As a Program Manager, you'll be responsible for managing multiple group homes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You'll manage employees and resources to assist each individual supported in achieving their desired lifestyles. 

Program Managers may mentor and train staff to implement all Core Competencies, Policies, Procedures, and Administrative Rules.  You will ensure the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and coordinate any necessary or required services for each individual. 

Excellent Program Managers will bring a working knowledge of the ISP process, medication administration, behavior support plans, financials, and managing staff schedules.

Average Wage Range

$40,000-$60,000 annual salary

 

To become a Program Manager

You will have a high-school diploma/GED or two years of education and/or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or similar work in a related field. 

All Program Manager’s will have a current valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background check.
