Personal Support Workers
Job level: Intermediate
A Personal Support Worker for ODDS services provides personal care and support services to a person with an intellectual or developmental disability in their home or out in the community. This work may include assisting with activities of daily living including such as personal hygiene, ensuring a healthy and safe environment, providing socialization experiences, house cleaning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, mobility, and equipment maintenance. A Personal Support Worker is employed directly by the person being supported, or another person as designated.
